JP and Britt tied the knot in the Chapel on The Glades Farm in Balgowan on the 22nd of April 2017. Steven Heyns was the DJ for the wedding and supplied sound in the chapel, outside on the lawn and in the reception.
Steven uses three seperate PA Systems for the three phases of the wedding day (Ceremony , pre-drinks / cocktail hour and the Main reception) to create a seamless transition between the different parts of the day. Our DJs don’t run around setting up speakers while your guests are mingling and are set up and ready at all three locations long before your first guests arrive at the chapel.
The Photo Booth
We decided the use the beautiful surrounding landscape of The Glades Farm instead of a backdrop, I personally prefer the natural look of the pictures. Our photo booth has a high quality Canon Flash built in , and coupled with a Canon DSLR resulted in well lit photographs. Here’s a few of my favourite pics from the afternoon.
We ran the photo booth for an hour and a half during pre-drinks and created 97 photo booth prints from a total of 291 photos. (Extra copies printed not included in this figure)
The Photo Booth was moved indoors and placed on the edge of the dance floor next to The Wedding DJ‘s table. This was the first time that we used the room as a background instead of a wall or backdrop. The results were stunning, here’s a few examples photo booth prints.
The First Dance
JP and Britt practised their first dance for months, here’s the end result.
Midlands weddings are always fantastic, with the main reason probably being that most of the guests normally stay over and don’t have to worry about driving home still. Just book a great DJ and your wedding will be one your friends will talk about for years to come:)
