I'm Steve. I've been DJing KZN weddings for 20 years. There's a thing wedding DJs do where they tell you about every piece of gear they own. I'm not going to. What you actually want to know is whether I'll read your room, play what your aunt and your cousin both want to dance to, and not embarrass anyone with the microphone. After more than 1,000 weddings, that's the part I've got down. I still rock up to every booking like it's the first one. Not a nightclub DJ, not a karaoke DJ. A wedding DJ. That's all I do.
Weddings are completely different from nightclubs, corporate events, or birthday parties, and that difference matters. A great wedding DJ understands timing, flow, and how to create the right atmosphere from ceremony through to the dance floor. I take the time to understand your music taste, your crowd, and the kind of celebration you want. Requests are always welcome, and I encourage couples to share their must-play songs.

What's Included in My Full Wedding DJ Package
My standard Wedding DJ package covers up to 10 hours of DJ service (before midnight, with additional hours available on request). It's designed for couples who want a completely seamless, stress-free, and high-energy celebration, from the first guest arrival to the final song of the night.
This isn't a one-size-fits-all service. I work closely with you to plan the flow of your day, read the crowd, and create the right atmosphere at every stage, whether it's relaxed and romantic or full-on party mode. No shortcuts. No half measures. Just a packed dance floor and an unforgettable experience.
For couples planning a weekday wedding (Monday to Thursday), I offer a limited number of tailored options. Ideal for more intimate celebrations or flexible timelines, without compromising on the overall experience.
Ceremony & Canapés
I provide full sound support for your wedding ceremony, including cordless Shure microphones for your officiant and anyone giving readings or speeches. We will chat through your ceremony music in detail, from whether you and your bridesmaids walk in to the same song or different ones, to choosing something special for your flower girls or beer boys.
After the ceremony, I keep the music flowing through canapés and pre-drinks with relaxed background music that sets the tone while your guests mingle and enjoy cocktails.

Dance Floor Lighting and Reception Up-Lighting
Good lighting plays a big role in creating the right atmosphere for your reception. Dance floor lighting and venue uplighting (8 Uplights) is included in my standard package and brings energy once the party starts. Up-lighting can completely transform a room with warm, elegant color washes.

Photo Booth Printing
The photo booth is always a hit with guests. It gives everyone a chance to have fun, be a little silly, and take home a memory from your day. Photos print instantly with your custom layout, and you receive all the digital images afterwards. It is a great icebreaker during the quieter parts of the evening and adds an extra element of entertainment that guests of all ages enjoy.
